Product Usage/Function:
The Reinforced Endotracheal Tube is supplied sterile with standard 15 mm connectors. A spring is inserted in the tube to reduce the risk of kinking or crushing. The tube design incorporates a Magill curve and features a radiopaque line to assist in radiographic visualization. The tube is inserted into a patient's trachea through the patient's nose or mouth in order to ensure that the airway is not closed off and that air is able to reach the lungs. The Endotracheal Tube is regarded as the most reliable available method for protecting a patient's airway.
